Metro Public Involvement
The Sierra Club is working to increase public involvement in the management
and oversight of the Metro system in order to make it more open, responsive
and accountable to the riding public.
In December, 2004, Sierra Club recommended 10 steps to help Metro develop
a more effective working relationship with Metro passengers and the broader
public, including establishing a Passengers Advisory Committee. We continue
to advocate for meaningful public involvement in the Metro system.
